With the advent of social media and other forms of digital advertising/promotion businesses often overlook ‘location advertising opportunities’ to promote their business. Even in this fast paced digital arena when the emphasis is on content marketing, SEO and social media we are still surrounded by printed advertising.
If your business appeals to everyday consumers and local business people perhaps it’s time to look around you – what do you see? Taxis, bus stops, petrol stations, roundabouts, train stations and much more – each one offering long term advertising/brand awareness opportunities for your business.
My advice is don’t neglect location advertising – take the opportunity to go ‘old school’ and pin point your business and what it can offer potential clients.
