Who holds your personal data?

It’s Ideal Marketing Ltd is the data controller who holds your data when you provide details to us via our website, telephone, email or in person.

We collect information from you when you request our advice or assistance in marketing your business products or services.  The data we collect includes your business contact details, product or service information, website analytics, email analytics and other pertinent information about how your company has marketed itself to date.

What do we use this information for?

We use this information to assess your business structure, your products, how people navigate your website, the success of your email campaigns etc.  This information is then used to help put together strategic and tactical marketing plans to promote your business to help generate and increase enquiries.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of procedures including installation of malware software, operational software backups, and regular website security tracking activities to prevent breaches.

How long do we keep your data?

By law we have to keep certain basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for a minimum of 12 months and up to six years for tax purposes.

We do not perform automated decision making, including profiling.

Your rights to your personal data

We will enable you to exercise your rights regarding personal data at all times. The following are your rights under UK and EU data protection regulations.

We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data (or to exercise any of your other rights). This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We may also contact you to ask you for further information in relation to your request to speed up our response.

We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally it may take us longer than a month if your request is particularly complex or you have made a number of requests. In this case, we will notify you and keep you updated.
